    Job Overview

    The Immunization Records Business Analyst will support the manual identification, resolution, and management of duplicate patient demographic and vaccination records within an immunization information system. This role will also process public immunization record requests and change requests while collaborating with registry leadership and staff to maintain accurate, secure, and confidential records. The position is primarily telework-based, with the ability to report to the Harrisburg, PA office on an as-needed basis required.

    Job Duties

    • Manually merge immunization records within possible duplicate case queues.
    • Merge duplicate immunization records identified by providers.
    • Separate records that are comingled or incorrectly merged.
    • Resolve discrepancies within patient records.
    • Identify trends contributing to the creation of duplicate records.
    • Recommend improvements to immunization information system matching and merging processes.
    • Collaborate with registry management and staff to develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures for manual record merging and separation.
    • Process immunization record requests and record change requests.
    • Provide hotline support to the public regarding immunization record requests.
    • Communicate with the public regarding record requests through phone and email.
    • Maintain the security and confidentiality of immunization information system data in accordance with applicable policies.
    • Communicate and collaborate with registry staff to resolve duplicate and comingled records.
    • Treat end users, stakeholders, and coworkers with dignity and respect.
    • Contribute to a welcoming and respectful work environment.
    • Assist with other related tasks and duties as needed.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • 4 years of relevant Business Analyst experience.
    • Data analysis and visualization skills.
    • Experience using distance communication methods, including conference call and webinar tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
    • Ability to establish short-term and long-term objectives and specify strategies to achieve them.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
    • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, orally, electronically, and in person.
    • Ability to make decisions based on independent judgment and standard operating procedures.
