The expanding Breast Imaging section at the University of Utah's Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences seeks a full-time, fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Radiologist. This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to innovation in clinical care, research, and education. Hybrid work arrangements are offered, subject to departmental needs and accessibility requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Expertise: Provide comprehensive breast imaging services, including digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast ultrasound, MRI examinations, and performing image-guided biopsies and preoperative needle localizations using X-ray, ultrasound, and MRI guidance.
Education: Teach and mentor radiology residents, fellows, and medical students, fostering a culture of learning and inquiry.
Academic Track
Research: Contribute to expanding the department's research portfolio with opportunities for collaboration in breast imaging innovation, including advanced imaging techniques and breast cancer treatment options
Quality and Innovation: Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives and value-based care strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered breast imaging services.
Clinical Track
Focus on clinical work providing high quality interpretation of screening and diagnostic imaging (DBT, US and MRI), perform procedures and localizations.
