Position Overview:

Prep Cook: Help support chefs by measuring and mixing ingredients as well as other tasks as directed.  Perform daily and deep cleaning tasks in kitchent.  Assist in receiving deliveries and making sure they are put away in appropriate storage areas.  Show willingness and ability to cross-train across various roles ensuring team success.

Line Cook: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards and presentation guidelines.  Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.  Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away.

Dishwasher:  Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots or pans using dishwasher or by hand.  Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.  Regularly remove trash and place it in designated containers.  Maintain dishwashing equipment and report any malfunctions to kitchen manager.  Replenish cleaning supplies such as dish detergent, sanitizers and towels as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Prep Cook: 

  Prep ingredients as per the recipes and kitchen needs.
  Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all food is stored properly and safely.
  Support the chefs by measuring and mixing ingredients and performing other food preparation tasks as directed.
  Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
  Assist with inventory control by properly labeling and storing ingredients and notifying the Kitchen Manager of low stock levels.
  Perform daily and deep cleaning tasks in the kitchen to maintain a hygienic environment.
  Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.
 



Line Cook: 

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Work collaboratively with the BOH team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.



Dishwasher: 

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops. Regularly remove trash and        place it in designated containers.
Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment properly. Report any malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Kitchen         Manager.
Replenish cleaning supplies, such as dish detergent, sanitizers, and towels, as needed.
Properly sort and organize clean dishes, utensils, and equipment for easy access and efficiency in the kitchen.
Assist in receiving deliveries and putting them away in appropriate storage areas.
Requirements:

1-2 years experience working in food production facility, fast-paced restaurant or fast-casual restaurant.

Pay Range: USD $18.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.
