As Washington's leading statewide environmental advocacy organization, WCA works to protect clean air and water, advance climate solutions, strengthen democracy, support Tribal sovereignty, and ensure communities most impacted by environmental challenges have a meaningful voice in public decision-making. Through policy advocacy, grassroots organizing, voter engagement, and coalition-building, WCA helps drive some of the state's most significant environmental and civic victories. WCA is a 501(c)4 organization.
We are currently seeking new board members who have a love for environmental justice policy and advocacy who bring nonprofit financial expertise such as overseeing organizational budgets and reserves, supporting long-term financial sustainability and governance, or providing strategic financial guidance to mission-driven organizations. As a statewide organization, we are especially interested in candidates from Eastern Washington and the Olympic Peninsula to help ensure strong geographic representation across our board.
