Bilingual Workers’ Compensation Attorney – Houston - Hybrid schedule available - 0-2 years of experience! A growing Texas law firm is seeking a Bilingual Junior Associate Litigation Attorney to join its Workers’ Compensation practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful courtroom experience, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to build a strong foundation in Texas Workers’ Compensation law.

What You’ll Do
  • Manage a docket of Workers’ Compensation cases before the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers’ Compensation.
  • Research, analyze, and apply Texas Workers’ Compensation laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Negotiate with insurance adjusters and opposing counsel to resolve disputes and achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Prepare cases for administrative mediations, bench trials, and other proceedings.
  • Present legal arguments, examine witnesses, and advocate for clients before administrative law judges.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents.
  • Meet with clients and provide compassionate, knowledgeable guidance regarding their claims, legal options, risks, and potential outcomes.
  • Prepare clients for mediations, hearings, and bench trials while keeping them informed throughout the legal process.
  • Stay current on changes to Texas Workers’ Compensation laws, regulations, and legislation.
  • Work closely with experienced paralegals who provide day-to-day support with client files and case management.
What We’re Looking For
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Texas Bar license and in good standing.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with clients.
  • Motivated, compassionate, and eager to learn and develop as a litigator.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of assigned cases.
