    BAS Project Engineer – Hybrid (2 Days Office / 3 Days Remote) – $95K–$120K + Bonus – Leading Building Automation & Energy Controls Firm

    With more than 300 professionals across multiple offices, this company offers a collaborative, growth-focused environment and a flexible hybrid model—working 2 days on-site and 3 days remote each week.

    Position Details

    • Title: BAS Project Engineer
    • Schedule: Hybrid (2 Days in Office / 3 Days Remote)
    • Compensation: $95,000 – $120,000 Base + Bonus Incentives
    • Locations: Jessup, MD | Richmond, VA | Norfolk, VA | Pittsburgh, PA
    • Employment Type: Full-Time

    Ideal Candidate Background

    The team welcomes candidates from various BAS engineering paths and provides cross-training for complementary skill sets. Professionals with experience in the following roles are encouraged to apply:

    • BAS Project Engineer
    • BAS Design Engineer
    • BAS Estimator
    • Office-Based BAS Programmer

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design and program DDC/BAS control systems for HVAC and energy management applications
    • Develop control sequences, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation
    • Review vendor submittals and validate BOMs, materials, and control components
    • Create engineered submittal packages, installation documents, and as-built drawings
    • Support system commissioning, graphics development, and end-user training
    • Provide technical support to internal teams, subcontractors, and customers
    • Manage multiple active projects, ensuring deliverables meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations

    Requirements

    • Experience with Building Automation, HVAC controls, or related systems
    • Knowledge of DDC, PLC, or comparable programming environments
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or engineering design tools
    • Strong written documentation and communication skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a hybrid team structure
