Job Title: Barista
Job Type: Part-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and energetic Barista to join our team at Sofive Soccer Centers. In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, delivering top-notch customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment inside our vibrant, fast-paced soccer and recreation facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and deliver exceptional customer service
- Take and process beverage and snack orders accurately
- Prepare a wide range of coffee and tea beverages to customer specifications
- Ensure all food and beverage items meet quality, consistency, and timeliness standards
- Maintain and clean coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, blenders) regularly
- Restock supplies and inventory as needed throughout the shift
- Keep all areas—workstations, kitchen, and dining areas—clean and organized
- Adhere to all company policies, health and safety regulations, and service protocols
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a barista or in food and beverage is preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee roasting, brewing techniques, and beverage preparation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Team player with a positive, energetic attitude
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed
Working Conditions
- May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts
- Fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment
- $16 / hour
