Position Summary

Baristas play a critical role in our venue, providing high-quality, quick-thinking service at our busiest locations. Candidates who have some bartending experience and at least one year of Barista experience are preferred. Must be polished and professional with availability to work a flexible schedule. We are seeking a skilled and personable individual to join our team as a Barista. This position involves preparing high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while also serving alcoholic drinks in accordance with local laws and company policies.

This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$16.00 and is tip eligible

Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching.

This position will remain open until November 13, 2026.

Responsibilities

Barista Duties:

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty drinks.
  • Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station.
  • Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge.
  • Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed.

Alcohol Service Duties:

  • Mix and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly.
  • Verify age and identification of customers purchasing alcohol.
  • Maintain knowledge of drink recipes and alcohol safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local alcohol laws and licensing requirements.
  • Monitor customer behavior and refuse service when necessary.

General Duties:

  • Handle POS transactions accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Must meet legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
  • 1+ year experience in a barista or bartending role preferred.
  • Alcohol server certification (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) is required or willingness to obtain it.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Able to lift heavy objects as needed.
  • Perform repetitive tasks such as grinding, pouring, and cleaning.
