The Banquet Cook is a culinary position that requires basic culinary skills or related cooking experience and good communication skills.

Guest will be encouraged to explore Austin's unparalleled offerings and in every square foot, tommie is an opportunity to meet and be inspired. Where art and atmosphere seep in from the surrounding neighborhood, and collaborations seep back out. tommie will feature a bespoke coffee and wine shop and allow guests to be the master of their own stay while still offering warm and authentic service.

Qualifications

• Requires fair communication skills.
• 2-3 years of banquet and event culinary experience.
• Knife skills and basic food knowledge are important.
• a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of performing repetitious duties.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and plating diagrams.
• Recipe conversion understanding
• Bake, grill, steam, and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods.
• Present, garnish, and arrange final dishes.
• Occasionally serve food.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment, and dishes.
• Handle and store ingredients and food.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
