Bodily Injury Associate Attorney (1–3 Years Experience)

An AV-rated insurance defense law firm is seeking a motivated Bodily Injury Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience to join our Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on litigation experience while working alongside experienced trial attorneys in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of bodily injury defense matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and reports to insurance carriers.
- Conduct legal research and analysis using Westlaw and other legal resources.
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
- Attend hearings, mediations, and court conferences.
- Develop litigation strategy and provide case evaluations and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, and the court.
Qualifications
- Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
- 1–3 years of litigation experience; insurance defense and bodily injury experience preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Experience handling discovery and drafting substantive motions.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and case management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team-oriented practice group.
