FMS is seeking an early to mid-level litigation associate attorney to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent employers and insurers before the Division of Workers' Compensation.
- Represent insurers in medical fee dispute matters before the Division of Workers' Compensation.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents for litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda to support case strategy.
- Participate in depositions, hearings, and court appearances as needed.
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel regarding case developments and strategy.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Two (2) – five (5) years of relevant legal experience preferred.
- Active Missouri Bar license in good standing.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively solo.
