    ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - LITIGATION

    BUSINESS & COMMERCIAL LITIGATION

    Location: Miami, FL
    HYBRID - Regular in-office presence with some flexibility for work-from-home


    A top-10 AmLaw international law firm is seeking a mid-level Associate Attorney to join their dynamic Business & Commercial LitigationPractice Group in Downtown Miami. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven litigator to work on sophisticated disputes while learning from a nationally recognized team. The position offers hands-on experience across all stages of litigation, as well as meaningful mentorship and professional development.


    Candidate Profile

    • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
    • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
    • 4+ years of general litigation experience across a broad range of practices.
    • Completion of a federal or state supreme court judicial clerkship is a plus.
    • Prior law firm experience is a plus.
    • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to draft pleadings, motions, and client communications with minimal supervision.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and a practical, business‑oriented approach to legal issues.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including direct interaction with clients and colleagues.
    • Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of matters.
    • Commitment to professional development and participation in pro bono or community service initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
    • Support senior attorneys in case development, strategy, and client communications.
    • Assist with discovery, including drafting requests and responses, and reviewing evidence.
    • Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations and trials, providing support to the litigation team.
    • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, experts and other stakeholders.
    • Review, organize, and manage case files, pleadings, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
    • Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Competitive Compensation: Annual base salary is expected to range from $310,000-$390,000 depending on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
    • Discretionary bonus opportunities are also available.
