The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of immigration law, with a particular emphasis on removal, asylum, and cancellation of removal procedures. The successful candidate will have a strong background in dealing with EOIR and deportation cases, and will be adept at providing comprehensive legal advice to our diverse clientele.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Associate Attorney, you will be expected to:

1. Represent clients in immigration court proceedings, including removal and deportation cases.
2. Prepare and file applications for asylum, cancellation of removal, and other forms of relief.
3. Conduct comprehensive reviews of client cases to determine the most appropriate legal strategy.
4. Advise clients on their legal rights and options.
5. Liaise with government agencies and officials, including EOIR, on behalf of clients.
6. Draft and file legal documents, such as appeals, motions, and briefs.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in immigration law and policy.
8. Provide bilingual legal services to our English and Spanish-speaking clients.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to practice law in a U.S. jurisdiction.
3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in immigration law, with a focus on removal, asylum, and cancellation of removal cases.
4. Proven experience in handling EOIR and deportation cases.
5. Fluent in both English and Spanish.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
8. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
10. Commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients from diverse backgrounds.
