    Key Responsibilities:

    • Discovery Management: Draft, review, and respond to discovery requests with precision.
    • Legal Document Preparation: Prepare and respond to motions and legal memoranda, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
    • Background Investigations: Conduct comprehensive background checks to support case development.
    • Client and Witness Coordination: Organize and manage meetings with clients, attorneys, and expert witnesses.
    • In-Depth Legal Research: Perform detailed legal research to support case strategies.
    • Medical Review: Analyze and review medical records to build strong cases.
    • Case Analysis: Write clear and concise case analyses and reports for clients.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in civil litigation defense.
    • Bar Admission: Admission to the Missouri Bar is required; Illinois Bar admission is preferred but not required.
    • Legal Writing and Presentation: Proven ability to write and present well-reasoned legal arguments.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Self-Motivated: A self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and drives them to completion.
    • Caseload Management: Ability to manage and prioritize a complex caseload effectively.
    • Team Player: An effective team player with a collaborative approach.
    • Work Ethic: Strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
