Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of business immigration matters, including H-1B, LCA, PERM, employment-based immigration, prevailing wage, PWD, ETA 9089, I-140, RFE, and request for evidence.
• Draft, review, and file complex petitions and applications under supervision of senior attorneys.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal memoranda, briefs, and pleadings.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, government officials, and team members.
• Manage a high-volume case load while ensuring all deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
• Stay updated on immigration laws, regulations, and trends to provide the most accurate advice and strategies to clients.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be an active member in good standing with the state bar.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in business immigration law.
• Proven experience with H-1B, LCA, PERM, employment-based immigration, prevailing wage, PWD, ETA 9089, I-140, RFE, and request for evidence.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high volume case load while maintaining high level of productivity.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, courts, and colleagues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
• Proficiency in using legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to uphold and adhere to strict confidentiality and ethical standards.
