Jersey ChildCare LLC is looking for a passionate and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our team in Brick, NJ! Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate educational activities and lesson plans
• Supervise and engage children in a safe, nurturing classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development throughout the day
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom space
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress
• Follow all childcare center policies, safety protocols, and state licensing regulations
• Assist with snack time, nap time, and daily routines

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn NJ childcare licensing requirements
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with a genuine love for children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must pass required background checks and health screenings
