Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee day-to-day restaurant management under the General Manager's supervision.
- Assist with inventory management, staff scheduling, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Engage with customers to ensure a satisfactory dining experience and handle any issues professionally.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, boost restaurant reputation, and revenue.
- Motivate and lead the team, fostering a culture of teamwork, enthusiasm, and dedication.
- Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, guidance, and support for their development.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining the brand's standards of excellence.
- Contribute to marketing activities with innovative ideas that align with the brand's vision.
- Maintain industry knowledge to offer creative menu suggestions and improvements.
Requirements
- Proven managerial experience in the food & beverage industry, preferably in a full-service restaurant.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and reservation management software such as Open Table, Toast, and Radar.
- Strong understanding of operational procedures necessary for a smoothly functioning establishment.
- Ability to perform and assist with payroll, tips distribution, and scheduling, ensuring operational compliance and effectiveness.
- An educational background in hospitality management or a related field is preferable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and inspire a team.
