We are looking for an Assistant Director of Restaurants to be part of this exceptional leadership team!

    The hotel has brought a new standard of luxury to DC with 360 rooms, 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets, including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar, club lounge, and in-room dining.

    In this role, you will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of all our food and beverage operations. You will report directly to our Director of Restaurants and oversee 2 Food and Beverage Managers 35-40 Front-of-House Team Members.

    The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of food and beverage leadership experience, ideally overseeing multiple outlets within a fine-dining or Forbes-rated luxury hotel environment. They will bring strong administrative and organizational skills, along with a service-driven, engaging leadership style and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. Wine knowledge is preferred, and experience managing in a unionized environment is a plus.

    • Maximize revenue opportunities: Support the development and implementation of strategies to promote restaurant food, beverages, and services in alignment with food & beverage marketing programs
    • Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs
    • Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing #LI-JP2
