Architectural Project Coordinator - (Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000)
Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Architectural Project Coordinator to join a highly collaborative and growing architecture firm in Dallas. This position will support commercial, multifamily, and land planning projects through all phases of design, from schematic design through construction administration.
The ideal candidate has a solid architectural foundation, strong Revit skills, and a desire to continue developing technically and professionally. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced architects and project managers while gaining exposure to all aspects of project delivery in a collaborative studio environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Support and Design Development- Support project teams throughout all phases of design and construction administration.
- Assist in the development of design concepts and translate them into coordinated architectural drawings and construction documents.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and presentation materials using Revit.
- Coordinate drawing sets with project managers, architects, consultants, and internal team members.
- Assist with project documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to firm standards.
- Participate in quality control reviews and help maintain well coordinated construction documents.
- Support construction administration activities, including:
- Responding to RFIs
- Reviewing submittals
- Assisting with site observations as needed
- Help maintain project schedules and meet established deadlines.
- Develop a strong understanding of building systems, construction methods, building codes, and life safety requirements.
Team Collaboration- Work closely with project managers, architects, consultants, and other team members to support successful project delivery.
- Participate in internal design discussions, project meetings, and coordination sessions.
- Communicate effectively through drawings, presentations, and verbal communication.
- Take initiative in solving design and technical challenges while seeking guidance when appropriate.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative studio culture.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow, and take on increasing project responsibilities over time.
Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 2 to 4 years of professional architectural experience.
- Experience working on commercial, multifamily, or mixed use projects preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Revit.
- Working knowledge of:
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Rendering software
- Other architectural design tools
- Basic understanding of:
- Building codes
- Construction documentation
- Actively pursuing architectural licensure or an interest in becoming licensed is preferred.
