AI/ML Technical Lead

Location: Reading, PA – Onsite/Hybrid
Work Arrangement: Must be willing to work at the customer location 1–2 times per week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Technical Lead to drive end-to-end execution of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions, lead engineering teams, coordinate onshore and offshore delivery, and ensure successful deployment of enterprise AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building production-grade agentic AI applications using frameworks such as Strands Agents Framework, Microsoft Agent Core, LangGraph, or similar agent orchestration frameworks. The candidate should have experience developing enterprise AI assistants, autonomous agents, RAG solutions, and AI-powered workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.

• Drive implementation of machine learning models, LLM-powered applications, RAG solutions, and intelligent automation.

• Lead the development of AI agents and agentic workflows, including multi-agent systems and orchestration.

• Oversee solution quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and operational readiness.

• Implement tool calling and function execution capabilities within AI applications.

• Design and implement agent memory, planning, reasoning, and task-delegation capabilities.

• Define and implement agent monitoring, observability, evaluation, and optimization practices.

• Develop enterprise AI assistants, autonomous agents, and AI workflow automation solutions.

• Implement RAG and vector-search solutions for enterprise applications.

• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.

• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and enterprise AI governance policies.

• Drive AI solution governance, compliance, security, and responsible AI adoption.

• Lead and mentor onshore and offshore engineering teams.

• Coordinate global delivery activities and ensure high-quality technical deliverables.

• Establish and promote best practices for AI/ML development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

• Collaborate with architects, developers, data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience OR 3+ years of AI/ML, Data Science, or Generative AI solution experience.

• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams and global delivery programs.

• Proven experience managing and coordinating onshore and offshore engineering teams.

• Strong experience designing and developing enterprise-scale AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.

• Hands-on experience building production-grade agentic AI applications.

• Experience with one or more agent orchestration frameworks such as:
