Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist clients by phone, email, and in person
  • Maintain and update policyholder records in the agency management system
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars for agents and staff
  • Prepare, organize, and file insurance documents and correspondence
  • Process incoming payments and generate receipts
  • Assist with policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Draft routine emails, letters, and internal memos
  • Support onboarding of new clients by collecting required documentation
  • Coordinate with underwriters and carriers on routine requests

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred
  • Prior office, administrative, or customer service experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Comfortable learning new software and agency management systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation
  • Willingness to obtain a state insurance license within the first year is a plus
