What You''ll Do:

Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals (OCDP) Board certifies and licenses professionals who demonstrate additional education and experience in treating individuals with substance use disorders. The Board also certifies professionals who have expertise in alcohol, tobacco and other drug prevention and the promotion of mental health.

The Administrative Professional 2/Investigator Assistant plays an important part at the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting basic investigations of criminal records to include reviewing background checks, potential disqualifying offenses or previous board action, drafting correspondence, and preparing required reports.
  • Recording and monitoring ethics grievances, complaints, notifications, and documentation using compliance systems and eLicense.
  • Providing administrative support including gathering preliminary data to supplement investigations conducted by board Investigative Supervisor, Investigator(s) and/or Executive Director.
  • Maintaining and overseeing ethics case records and retention (e.g., scanning, storage), compiling reports, and responding to general inquiries regarding grievances, enforcement, and programs.
  • Monitoring Compliance of the terms and conditions of consent agreements, adjudication orders, Ohio Professionals Health Program (OPHP) and any other program participation.
