In addition, the incumbent in this position will be responsible for collaborating with County departments, municipalities, businesses, multi-family residential communities, external organizations, and the public to support the adoption and promotion of waste diversion initiatives.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelors degree. Two years of administrative experience is required. Additional administrative experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

    This position will be assigned to the Resilience Division and will be responsible for organizing and promoting outreach efforts related to existing County initiatives, including the Plastic Free 305 Campaign and other waste diversion programs intended to increase public awareness and encourage environmentally responsible behaviors. Responsibilities include evaluating the effectiveness of outreach and engagement initiatives and ensuring alignment with County waste diversion policies, sustainability objectives, and operational goals.
