Mission:

The mission of the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board is to protect the public from unauthorized, unqualified, and improper or unethical services by ensuring applied behavior analysis services received by the citizens of Louisiana meet or exceed the established, published standards.

Overview of the Role:

The Administrative Coordinator 4 is a classified employee of the Louisiana Behavior Analyst Board, hired in accordance with applicable classified service requirements. The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Executive Administrator while gaining comprehensive knowledge and experience in the duties and responsibilities associated with the Executive Administrator.

Although the individual will not be responsible for independently performing the full duties of the Executive Administrator, the position is intended to provide structured training and professional development in preparation for assuming greater administrative responsibilities. This position also requires supervision of the position of Administrative Coordinator 2.

This position will be filled as a Job Appointment. In the event that funds become available for a permanent position, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.

Minimum Qualifications

Three years of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

As an Administrative Coordinator, youll help create a positive first impression for every person who walks through our doors. In this role, you will:

  • Supervise and guides the Administrative Coordinator 2 responsible for processing Registered Line Technician applications, transfers, and discontinuations through the designated software system.
  • Train the employee on applicable procedures, policies, and system requirements; review completed work for accuracy and compliance; address processing errors and provide corrective guidance as necessary.
  • Assists the Executive Administrator with the preparation and administration of the Boards annual budget. Maintains accurate records of revenues, receipts, expenditures, and other financial transactions.
  • Assists the Executive Administrator with administrative duties associated with Board and Committee meetings. Assists With ensuring meeting activities and documentation comply with Louisiana Open Meetings Law and applicable Board requirements.

Position-Specific Details:

Appointment Type: Job Appointment. This position will be filled as a Job Appointment. In the event that funds become available for a permanent position, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.

Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.

Work Schedule: Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
