About this Job
The Administrative Hearings Division (AHD) of the Louisiana Public Service Commission (LPSC or Commission) is primarily responsible for compiling accurate and complete records of proceedings before the Commission.
The incumbent serves as an LPSC Court Reporter and adheres to professional standards of court reporting by utilizing electronic recording equipment to produce verbatim transcripts of all public hearings and meetings presided over by the five elected LPSC Commissioners, all adjudicatory hearings and oral arguments presided over by the Administrative Law Judges, and technical conferences conducted by the Commissions Office of General Counsel. A strong command of punctuation is very useful in this position.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years of experience in administrative services.

Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.
