The anticipated start date of this position is July 1, 2026. Opportunities for training during June may be available based on candidate availability.
WHAT YOU''LL DO:
- Receives and routes incoming phone calls, US mail, e-mails, or in person messages with a variety of people including staff, students, parents, vendors, outside agencies, etc.
- Greets visitors in a pleasant and professional manner, ascertains nature of business, and directs visitors to appropriate personnel and locations.
- Routes outgoing newsletters, e-mails, handbooks, bulletins, etc.
- Utilizes Facebook, D.C. Everest website, and monthly reports while using individual judgment and following District policies and procedures.
- Monitors both the substitute tracking program and employee personnel system to call substitutes and notify the Principal and Payroll if absences are not entered correctly.
- Registers new students, requests records, tracks incoming/outgoing students and student information, etc.
- Edits and prints documents for filing as well as maintains electronic filing systems.
- Processes confidential items including timesheets, medication forms, releases, court documents, staff evaluations, injury reports, etc.
- Prepares and updates calendars, parent handbooks, phone lists, maps, etc.
- Assists in the preparation and utilization of the budgeting of funds and Student Based Activity Accounts (SBAA).
- Monitors the budget including purchasing, receiving, and using check requests to pay invoices.
- Receives payments, issues receipts, and bookkeeps and maintains accounts.
- Assists the Health Assistant in administering minor first aid, contacting parents, preparing incident reports, and dispensing medicine as directed by students' doctor.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT YOU'LL RECEIVE:
- $20.00 per hour or higher, depending on qualifications and experience.
