The Neenah Joint School District is accepting applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Administrative Assistant to Associate Principal at Neenah High School. The official start date is July 1, 2026.

Under general supervision, performs responsible clerical, typing, word processing, and office support work requiring individual judgment, initiative, and specialized knowledge in carrying out established procedures, and performs related duties as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organizes staff recognition programs and office structures.
  • Completes complex office responsibilities.
  • Manages a relatively simple set of school financial accounts, orders office supplies; initiates work orders and repair orders for office equipment.
  • Assists in management of building Administrators schedules.
  • Assists in maintaining the calendar of events for the building.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures.
  • Considerable knowledge of school programs, operations and policies, including Schoology, Infinite Campus, and Google Docs.
  • Considerable knowledge of commercial arithmetic, business English and spelling.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective public and working relationships.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and complete records and prepare clear and detailed reports.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and community members.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks.

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Graduation from high school required.
  • Post-high school clerical training desired.
  • Minimum of two years of responsible office work experience.
  • Previous work experience in a school setting desired.
  • Knowledge of accurate document formatting, word processing, spreadsheets and creating tables, charts and graphs.
  • Must be familiar with various databases which include Infinite Campus, Frontline, Google Docs, and Skyward.
  • Experience in using general office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, shredder, folding machine and postage meter.

WORKING HOURS:

  • Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
  • This is a 12-month calendar position, 7.5 hours per day.
