     Administrative Assistant - Mental Health 

    We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of a busy mental health private practice. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with the public, managing multiple priorities, handling a multi-line phone system, and maintaining accurate client and scheduling information. We are seeking a trustworthy, positive person to give our clients and staff a wonderful experience.  

    Schedule - Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM

    This role requires being onsite/in-person

    Responsibilities

    • Greet and assist clients, answer a multi-line phone system, schedule appointments, collect payments, and provide general support.
    • Complete client intakes, gather insurance benefits, assign clients to appropriate therapists, and schedule initial appointments.
    • Manage schedules for 12+ providers across two locations.
    • Enter and maintain client information, type correspondence and forms, and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
    • Compile weekly and monthly reports and maintain data in Excel spreadsheets.
    • Assist with record requests, insurance billing, accounts receivable, payment posting, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
    • Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the practice.

    • Comfortable interacting with clients and the public
    • Strong typing and data-entry skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to learn and efficiently operate a multi-line phone system
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
    • Proficiency with general computer systems
    • Previous administrative, medical office, behavioral health, or healthcare experience is a plus
    Compensation - $17-$20 per hour based on experience
