Job Summary and Qualifications

The Administrative Assistant provides office services by facilitating, implementing and monitoring administrative projects, procedures, and policies within the Department.  Join us and become part of an organization committed to providing compassionate, efficient, quality, patient-focused healthcare at all times. 

What you will do in this role:  

  • Creates and revises systems and procedures by reviewing operating practices; analyzing data, evaluating personnel and technological requirements; recommending changes. 
  • Facilitates the work of teams by scheduling meetings, preparing materials, running effective meetings. 
  • Resolves administrative problems by analyzing information; identifying and communicating solutions. 
  • Maintains rapport with customers, managers, and employees by developing new services and methods; setting priorities; resolving problem situations and continuous follow up. 
  • Maintains continuity of work operations within department by documenting and communicating needed actions to management; and identifying opportunities for improvement. 
  • Completes administrative projects by identifying and implementing new technology and resources; redesigning systems; recommending re-deployment of designated resources.

What qualifications you will need: 

  • Bachelor of Science preferred.   
  • 1 year of relevant work experience.

Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital. Our hospital offers an array of medical and health clinic services. This includes women's services offering obstetrics and fertility, an emergency room, and a trauma center.
