The Administrative Assistant I, provides essential support by managing front desk operations, greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties to support the department. This includes managing schedules, handling communication, organizing documents, and assisting with day-to-day office operations. The role involves data entry, maintaining filing systems, and coordinating meetings, all while ensuring smooth workflow and efficient office management. The Administrative Assistant I plays a key role in supporting the team's needs, ensuring a productive and organized work environment. Work involves a variety of tasks that require attention to detail, basic analytical skills, and the ability to follow established practices and procedures. Supervision is provided to guide the employee, with a focus on training and development. The position involves working both independently and as part of a team to support staff and achieve goals.

Required Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of six (6) months of office experience.

The position is specific to receptionist duties in the MATC Dental Hygiene Clinic. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Start Date: This position supports the Healthcare Pathway, Dental Hygiene Clinic and is available to start immediately.
Hours: This position is a full-time position and works 40 hours a week (in-person) - 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday. All work must be performed in the state of Wisconsin.
Compensation: Hourly pay rates are listed up to the midpoint of the range and placement is determined based on years of experience, internal equity, and a review of the applicants employment and educational background as listed on the job application.

MATC contributes a generous percentage towards medical insurance premium. Both medical plans include prescription drug coverage at no additional cost to employees. Employees are offered an option to enroll in a Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) with the selection of the Low Deductible PPO plan. Employees are offered an option to enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA) with the selection of the High Deductible PPO plan with employer contributions.
