Position: Administrative Assistant
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Work Arrangement: Onsite, 5 days per week
Duration: Contract, 6–12 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, generally 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Job Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative and secretarial support to multiple managers and staff members while interacting with employees, management, and external parties. This position requires strong organization, attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
The ideal candidate will support daily administrative operations, coordinate meetings and travel, process invoices and purchasing documentation, maintain records, prepare reports, and assist with special projects. The position may also require flexibility to support onsite operations during storm restoration activities and adverse weather conditions.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and secretarial support to multiple managers and department staff.
Maintain calendars, coordinate meetings, and schedule conference rooms, equipment, and department activities.
Process invoices, purchasing card statements, travel card documentation, miscellaneous invoices, and time reporting.
Maintain accurate department files, records, reports, and documentation.
Prepare correspondence, letters, memos, meeting materials, and other business communications.
Gather, compile, and summarize information for special projects and departmental studies.
Coordinate travel arrangements and provide related administrative support.
Order, organize, and maintain office supplies for multiple groups.
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports accurately and on time.
Document meeting minutes, action items, and assigned responsibilities, then distribute information to attendees.
Provide administrative assistance to other support staff and executive offices when requested.
Participate in special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Support onsite operations during storm restoration activities, which may require flexibility in work hours and reporting during adverse weather conditions.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
At least 3 years of secretarial or administrative support experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate directly, specifically, and constructively with employees, management, and external parties.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated accuracy and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Proactive, dependable, and team-oriented work style.
Ability to learn and apply company policies, procedures, systems, and software.
Knowledge of utility or company operations, policies, and procedures is a plus.
Work Schedule and Environment:
Onsite five days per week.
Eight-hour workday, generally from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Some flexibility in working hours may be required.
May provide onsite support during storm restoration activities.
May require reporting to work during adverse weather conditions.

Pay Range: $25 per hour
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
