Overview
Assisting marketing representatives; handling day-to-day tasks such as answering phones, maintaining price files for accounts, generating/maintaining reports in Excel, and assisting traders with travel arrangements and other assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist assigned marketing representatives
- Answer phones and take messages
- Initiate contracts and change orders
- Generate and maintain monthly supplier reports timely and accurately
- Review and audit checks
- Process cash adjustments and maintain samples
- Work with hedge desk using pricing markets
- Data entry and filing
- All other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, with ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team setting
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Multi-task oriented and flexible in the area of cross training
- Capable of functioning in a high-volume task environment
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail
