Position Summary:

We are seeking motivated part-time Administrative Assistant to assist in growing Tetra Tech's Texas environmental business. Candidate must be highly motivated and work well in a professional and team-oriented environment. Candidate must also have the ability to manage a heavy workload, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Office applications is a requirement.

Tetra Tech is seeking an Administrative Assistant on a part-time basis to join our Austin, Texas team to provide support on various projects managed through the Austin, Texas office. This position will support a variety of environmental contracts, including industrial and local government. Duties will include:

  • Assist Austin Project Managers with report and presentation preparation including work in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

  • Assist Austin Operations Manager with office management duties including monthly forecasting, office safety inspections, and coordinating periodic office staff meetings.

  • The position is anticipated to be part time and in the office. No travel is expected.

  • Other duties may be assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience working with and supporting a diverse group of technically oriented staff in the consulting industry or related experience.
  • Applicant must possess excellent communication (both written and verbal) and organizational skills.
  • Applicant must also be highly motivated, customer focused, and work well in a team environment.
