About this Job
The mission of the Louisiana Veterans Homes is to primarily serve the veteran population of Louisiana by providing medical, restorative, and rehabilitative services in an atmosphere of respectand compassion. The primary objective of the home is to provide quality nursing care to eligible veterans, with the ultimate goal of returning them to the highest possible levels of physical and mental capacity.
The Louisiana Veterans Homes is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant 2 to support the operation of the Administration Front Office Staff. This role is vital in providing secretarial assistance and overseeing a daily operation for the Administration, Human Resources, and Fiscal. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, clerical experience, and the ability to maintain accurate records in a fast-paced environment as well as handle confidential information. Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience in administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for six months of the required experience.
