Job Summary and Qualifications The Administrative Director Women's Services will function as a specialist in Women's care. Responsible for operations and the integration of the service within overall hospital functions, and serve as an innovator and change agent. Provide leadership to improve performance through assessment, planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating the care provided for being cared for throughout the organization, and specifically in any inpatient and outpatient units as assigned. Responsibilities include fiscal, human resources, strategic planning, and operational functions. Strategic partnership with the VP's and AVP's of the different service lines. Directs high level of customer satisfaction, manages productivity to achieve budgetary targets, and must be willing to assume twenty-four hour responsibility for patient care. Is also expected to function as a collaborator for overall hospital patient care operations, and a strong partner with the Medical Staff; specifically with the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Pediatric physicians. Ensures that all legal and statutory requirements are met for the operations of Women's Service line. Is expected to take on additional global projects as assigned to aide in widening their scope and experience. Supervision of Directors and Managers of Women's Services.
