    **Job Title: Accounting Supervisor**

    **Job Summary:**

    The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial records through account balance and bank statement reconciliation, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, with proven experience in collaborative teamwork. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. The Accounting Supervisor will assist the CFO in various accounting functions, including but not limited to the following responsibilities:

    **Duties & Responsibilities:**

    The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in the majority of the following tasks:

    • Assist the CFO with workflow process improvements and special projects.
    • Oversee daily financial transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
    • Address inquiries from the CFO regarding various accounting and financial functions.
    • Monitor and analyze the financial department to develop more efficient procedures and optimize resource use while maintaining accuracy.
    • Proactively identify risks and opportunities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
    • Compile and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts using electronic data and required documentation.
    • Prepare and summarize financial status reports, including profit and loss statements.
    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Play a key role in the company's financial management, including account reconciliations and reporting.
    • Coordinate complex accounting projects and initiatives with the accounting and finance team or other departments.
    • Maintain accurate financial records.
    • Prepare financial statements and budgets according to schedule.
    • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
    • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
    • Participate in financial standards setting and forecasting processes.
    • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Anticipate risks and opportunities, promoting continuous improvement.
    • Monitor daily performance of the accounting department.
    • Ensure the accounting team meets all financial reporting deadlines.
    • Handle personnel issues related to absenteeism, performance, and conflict.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    **Requirements:**

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with 4+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience.
    • Previous manufacturing or experience working with inventory highly preferred. 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Capability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and handle complex issues.
    • Ability to meet continuous deadlines.
    • Highly detail-oriented and organized.
    • Strong experience with accounting software and programs.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook).
