About the Opportunity - Accounting Specialist
We are partnering with a growing organization in the South Nashville area to identify a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with strong inventory accounting experience. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations while partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate inventory and financial reporting. This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities - Accounting Specialist

• 
  
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
• 
  
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and assist with monthly close activities
• 
  
• Monitor, track, and reconcile inventory transactions and inventory-related variances
• 
  
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• 
  
• Assist with financial reporting, account analysis, and data entry functions
• 
  
• Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy
• 
  
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve accounting and inventory issues promptly
• 
  
• Support audits and provide requested documentation as needed
• 
  

Qualifications - Accounting Specialist

• 
  
• Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience required
• 
  
• Inventory accounting or inventory management experience required
• 
  
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field highly preferred
• 
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and account reconciliations
• 
  
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• 
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• 
  
• Must be able to work onsite 100% of the time, Monday through Friday in the South Nashville area
