Role Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee full cycle general ledger accounting activities and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership while supporting accounting operations, process improvements, audit activities, and system enhancement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, experience managing complex general ledger activities, and the ability to thrive in a hands on environment. This role is highly visible and requires someone who can analyze issues, drive solutions, and collaborate effectively across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full cycle general ledger accounting activities
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, including intercompany and international transactions
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate account variances
• Prepare monthly accruals and maintain prepaid expense amortization schedules
• Support accounting system implementations, upgrades, and process automation initiatives
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Partner with internal and external auditors by providing accurate documentation and supporting audit requests

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• CPA or CA designation required
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience managing intercompany accounting transactions and reconciliations
• Experience working within ERP systems, with NetSuite strongly preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Proven ability to identify issues, solve problems, and improve processes
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in public accounting at the Manager level
• Experience supporting system implementations and accounting process improvements
• Experience working in large ERP environments
• Background supporting internal and external audit engagements
• Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a fast paced environment
