Job Title: Accounting Associate, Private Credit

Company Summary: A leading alternative investment management firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join the private debt team. This individual will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, investment accounting, operational oversight, and investor-related reporting across a diverse portfolio of investment vehicles. This opportunity offers exposure to accounting, finance, operations, and strategic business initiatives while partnering closely with internal stakeholders across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements, investor reporting packages, and performance reporting for private credit funds
- Support capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, cash management, portfolio monitoring, and investment tracking across multiple fund structures
- Partner with fund administrators, auditors, tax professionals, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational controls
- Assist with management reporting, fundraising support, investor requests, and various strategic initiatives across private debt funds
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 3-8 years of accounting, finance, or financial reporting experience within asset management, private credit, alternative investments, private equity or public accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP financial reporting,
- Experience with private credit, BDC, CLO or complex investment vehicles is a plus
