Position Overview: Our client is seeking an office professional to take on the role of Accounting Assistant to support daily operations. The ideal candidate will have computer proficiency, basic accounting knowledge, and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:- Perform general office duties to support daily operations.
- Apply basic accounting skills to assist with financial record-keeping.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
- Manage communications and coordinate office activities.
- Maintain organized and accurate records.
- Support team members with administrative tasks as needed.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accounting Assistant:- Proficiency in common computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Basic accounting knowledge and skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a small, dynamic office environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounting Assistant:- Experience with accounting software or bookkeeping tools.
- Familiarity with office management procedures.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
Education Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's degree or coursework in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
