Our client is an organization in the greater Milwaukee area that's looking for a Staff Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 1+ years of experience, driven, and organized. This position is hybrid.The salary for this position is $75k-95k + bonus.The Staff Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:RESPONSIBILITIESAssist in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings.Support the preparation and review of financial statement disclosures and related reporting schedules.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external auditors during annual audits and quarterly reviews.Assist with Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and 401(k) audits.Support insider trading compliance processes and SEC-related filings.Research accounting and reporting requirements and assist with implementation of new accounting standards.Maintain responsibility for the corporate general ledger, including monthly account reconciliations and journal entries.Serve as the centralized accounting resource for lease accounting activities, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and reporting.Participate in the monthly close process and support timely and accurate financial reporting.Performs additional duties as assigned.The Staff Accountant will possess the following:EXPERIENCE REQUIREDBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.1+ years of accounting and/or audit experience.Ability to research, compile, analyze, and interpret data.Detail oriented with good organizational skills.Equal Opportunity EmployerThe compensation philosophy reflects the Company's reasonable expectation at the time of posting.
