Accountant - Full-Time 1st Shift

Essential Job Functions:

• Establish month end close deadlines by preparing and analyzing journal entries
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain organized financial records
• Conduct audits, analyze finance data to ensure accuracy and compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) to maintain financial integrity
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, provide proactive analysis and optimize financial performance
• Serve as backup to other roles within the Finance department as needed
• Maintain confidential financial record information 

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related field
• 0-3 years of experience in accounting/finance
• Understanding of financial reporting requirements, GAAP and tax
• CPA or working towards certification preferred
