Position Summary:

The Account Manager 2 is responsible for the sale of Dee Zee’s aftermarket products and for providing ongoing support to the assigned product distribution channel.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage multiple accounts as assigned and assist with order entry/inbound phone calls when necessary. 
  • Participate in education and training conferences on selling and marketing programs.
  • Work closely with outside sales representatives and customers to design strategies that promote growth.
  • Attend customer trade shows.
  • Collaborate with customer service and marketing to promote team efforts.
  • Design and implement training programs for customer sales team.
  • Develop and maintain customer and product pricing files.
  • Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets.
  • Drive sales growth and improve profit margins to support overall company performance.
  • Keep informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' field sales experience required.
  • Customer and client focused with a commitment to building strong relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with customers.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Creative and motivated approach to sales growth and business development.
  • Bachelor Degree preferred.
