Overview:

At Savoy Associates, we help brokers deliver comprehensive employee benefits solutions to their clients through deep expertise, responsive service, and market-leading carrier relationships. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving new businessgrowthbydevelopingrelationshipswithinsurancebrokers,expandingexistingpartnerships,andpositioningSavoyasthepreferredgeneralagencypartner.

 

This is a highly visible sales role requiring strong knowledge of ancillary benefits products, a consultativeapproachtobusinessdevelopment,andapassionfordeliveringexceptionalservice.Successinthisrolecomesfromyourabilitytobuildtrust,influencebrokerbehavior,andconsistentlyexecuteagainstrevenuegoals.

 

How you'll make an impact:

  • rive new business production and achieve established revenue and growth objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with insurance brokers and agency leaders throughout the assigned territory.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new broker partners while expanding wallet share within existing relationships.
  • Promote Savoy's suite of employee benefits solutions, with a strong focus on ancillary products and services.
  • Educate brokers on carrier offerings, market trends, underwriting strategies, and product solutions.
  • Champion Savoy's concierge service model by delivering consultative guidance and value-added support.
  • Conduct broker training sessions, webinars, continuing education programs, and other educational events to increase engagement and product awareness.
  • Provide guidance to brokers and their teams on leveraging Savoy resources, technology platforms, and service capabilities to improve efficiency and drive growth.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Sales Support, Marketing, Underwriting, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless broker experience.
  • Identify opportunities for brokers to enter new markets, expand client relationships, and increase overall production.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive dynamics, carrier developments, and legislative changes impacting employee benefits.
  • Participate in industry associations, networking events, and community organizations to enhance market presence and generate new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline management, and business forecasts.

 

About you:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree, 1 year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR Bachelor's degree, participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP), and appropriate insurance licensing required OR High School Diploma/GED and 6 years experience.
  • Life/Health licensed in NJ, NY, PA, DE
  • 4+ years of employee benefits, ancillary benefits, general agency, carrier, or broker sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, relationship management, and revenue generation.
  • Strong knowledge of ancillary benefit products and the employee benefits marketplace.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
