What Youll Do
- Assess and treat patients with various impairments, focusing on ADL activities, mobility, and cognitive retraining
- Develop and monitor individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Administer occupational therapy modalities such as therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and more
- Verify physician orders and interpret patient charts to ensure appropriate treatment
- Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and equipment use
- Maintain communication with referring physicians regarding patient progress
- Ensure safety and efficacy of all treatments and document outcomes appropriately
What You Need
Required:- Current New Mexico State Licensure in Occupational Therapy
- BLS certification from AHA
- Ability to perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Preferred:- Minimum one year of experience in occupational therapy
