Occupational Therapist – Days Shift – Santa Fe, NM

What You’ll Do
  • Assess and treat patients with various impairments, focusing on ADL activities, mobility, and cognitive retraining
  • Develop and monitor individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team
  • Administer occupational therapy modalities such as therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and more
  • Verify physician orders and interpret patient charts to ensure appropriate treatment
  • Educate patients and families on treatment procedures and equipment use
  • Maintain communication with referring physicians regarding patient progress
  • Ensure safety and efficacy of all treatments and document outcomes appropriately
What You Need
Required:
  • Current New Mexico State Licensure in Occupational Therapy
  • BLS certification from AHA
  • Ability to perform evaluations and develop treatment plans
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Preferred:
  • Minimum one year of experience in occupational therapy
