**Exciting Opportunity for an Occupational Therapist: Make an Impact!** **Job Description:** Join us as an Occupational Therapist and embark on a fulfilling journey to transform the lives of patients! In this role, you'll have the chance to assess and treat individuals facing challenges from illnesses, injuries, and developmental or psychological impairments. As a vital member of the healthcare team, you will enable patients to regain their independence and navigate their daily lives with confidence. **Key Responsibilities:** - Evaluate each patient’s needs by thoroughly reviewing their chart and history. - Collaborate with the patient and their family to establish personalized goals and a comprehensive plan of care. - Administer and direct all Occupational Therapy treatments and modalities. - Utilize a variety of techniques, including ADL activities, exercises, cognitive retraining, and endurance building to promote rehabilitation. - Ensure the safety and effectiveness of all equipment used during therapy sessions. - Maintain consistent communication with the referring physician about patient progress, recommending changes as necessary. - Foster positive relationships with patients through effective interpersonal and communication skills. **Requirements:** - Education: Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. - Experience: One year of Occupational Therapy preferred. - Skills: Strong accountability, decision-making, time management, and organizational abilities. - Licenses: Current New Mexico occupational therapy license and BLS certification required. **Work Schedule:** - Days: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM - Weekend Requirement: Yes **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
