Accounting Technician Duties

As an Accounting Technician, at the GS-07 you will perform the following duties:

1. Managing processes for accuracy, compliance with regulations.
2. Preparing documents for input into the accounting system.
3. Reviewing documents for accuracy, compliance with regulations, and proper approval prior to entering information into the financial system.
4. Utilizing multiple databases to ensure transmitted transactions and processes are accomplished timely and accurately.
