A: I am the head of corporate sales for Broadbean, a part of the CareerBuilder group. In short, I manage our new business and success teams across the direct/non-staffing part of our business. A typical day involves me running sales meetings, joining calls with our key clients/prospects, and working with partners to make sure we’re driving growth among other things. Generally, everything we’re doing is geared toward making sure we keep that replacement rate as high as possible.
A: A lot!! I first joined CB as a national account exec selling software to our West Coast enterprise clients working out of the beautiful Newport Beach office. As an Englishman living in Orange County, it was a great experience, and I spent a lot of time being exposed to and discussing the recruitment technology stacks of large, globally recognized organizations.
I spent two great years in that role when a change in circumstances meant the family and I had to relocate back to the U.K. in 2017. Luckily, I was able to transfer back to Broadbean EMEA as the head of account management. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to get the opportunity to grow further and take on responsibility for all of the corporate sales org, where I continue to learn and grow.
A: Too many to mention, but they all involve the teams and people who make up the business — that’s where our strength lies.
A: Exercise is what keeps me sane! I am also partial to beers in front of the football with my mates, so a bit of a contradiction. I also have three kids, so really, their hobbies are now my hobbies
A: Sweeping up on a construction site
