Q: Tell us about your job! What do you do? What does a typical day look like in your role?
A: I am the sr. customer experience manager for CareerBuilder. This year, my primary focus is on our digital experience for our online B2B customers. I start each day with a report of our primary KPIs from the previous day to determine if we’re on track to meeting our goals for month. From there, the fun begins. Depending on the previous day’s performance, I dig into data on cancellation reasons, utilization, customer feedback, and ROI. I go where the data takes me and from there work with our internal stakeholders to brainstorm ideas for what’s next in the journey. I’m never bored!
Q: How has your career grown since starting at CareerBuilder?
A: I love to learn new things and CareerBuilder has given me the opportunity to learn different sides of the business. I started out as an account manager and ended my first round at CareerBuilder leading a team of success managers. After boomeranging back home to CB, I’ve had the opportunity to build process improvement strategies, execute strategic initiatives, and work closely with our product, sales, and marketing teams to create better experiences for our customers. I don’t see my career as a ladder anymore but more of a playground where I go to learn and bring value back to the organization. Again, I’m never bored!
Q: What is your favorite CareerBuilder memory, and why?
A: I have too many to count. I will say, I enjoy seeing my colleagues’ pets and kids on Zoom. It reminds me that we’re all human and working as a team to accomplish our goals at home and work.
Q: What was your first job?
A: I worked for Six Flags as a birthday party hostess. I’m pretty much an expert at cutting cakes and singing happy birthday!
Q: Favorite book, TV show, or podcast you're loving right now?
A: I’m currently watching “Madam Secretary” on Netflix. Great show!
