May manage a crew of drivers, assign daily tasks as position evolves Move and position trucks, trailers, or other heavy vehicles within yards, docks, or work zones Assist drivers with backing, parking, or staging vehicles Operate yard trucks, push trucks, or related equipment (where applicable) Guide vehicles using hand signals or communication devices Ensure vehicles are properly aligned for loading, unloading, or storage Perform basic inspections to identify visible safety or mechanical issues Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Maintain clear communication with dispatchers, drivers, and supervisors Keep work areas clean and free of hazards. High school diploma or GED (preferred) Valid driver's license (CDL may be required depending on equipment) Ability to operate push trucks, yard tractors, or similar equipment Strong understanding of safety procedures around heavy vehicles Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically capable of standing, walking, and climbing in and out of vehicles.
